The Charity CARE – (Christian Action & Resource Enterprise) took over this former bank and turned it into a community hub.
For over 30 years, CARE has worked in the heart of Grimsby and Cleethorpes, supporting people through some of the hardest moments of their lives. They provide housing, crisis support and practical help to anyone who needs it, without judgment and without barriers. Whether someone is facing homelessness, dealing with poverty or simply needs somewhere safe to turn to.
The ground floor has been transformed with the support of award-winning designer Scott Maddux in conjunction with CARE CEO Anne Bickerstaffe and generous support from Morris &Co.
The charity said that visitors during early visits have described the space as feeling like “a five star boutique hotel” and “a stately home”.
